Abich: Sofapaka will NOT be relegated

Batoto ba Mungu are currently lying in 15th position of the table after bagging fifteen points, seven shy from safety

Sofapaka defender Noah Abich is confident Batoto ba Mungu will successfully fight relegation battle.

David Ouma’s charges are currently placed in 15th position with fifteen points, seven shy from safety. The former Mathare United defender is adamant that his team will be in the top tier next season to compete against the best in the country.

“Yes we are in a very bad position but that does not mean we will remain there. We have every opportunity to ensure we remain in the league. Seven matches are many and I think enough for us to do our best and get from the dangerous zone we are currently in,” Abich told Goal.

“It is definitely going to be a challenge but that is what the league is all about, so we should give our best on the pitch.”

Ushuru FC and Nairobi City Stars are also in the red zone with seven matches to go.
