One more has been rescued from the rubble of a four storey building that collapsed in Murang’a Monday evening.

This brings the number of those rescued to four after three others had earlier been pulled out of the debris and rushed to Murang’a Level Five Hospital for treatment.
The latest person to be rescued had been injured in the limbs.
The County government has brought in two excavators to help in the search and rescue operation as police officers struggle to manage thousands of Murang’a town residents who turned up to witness the exercise.
An unknown number of construction workers are feared to be still trapped in the rubble following the incident that occurred at around 4pm.
One of the victims could be heard pleading for help and asking for water.
