MAKUENI GOVERNOR CALLS ON IPOA TO INVESTIGATE THE DEATH OF AN I8 YEAR OLD BOY SHOT DEAD ON WEDNESDAY’S DEMONSTRATIONS

Makueni Governor Mutula Kilonzo Jr has expressed concern over the shooting of the 18 year old Brian Muendo during the Wednesday’s demonstrations in Emali town.
He called on the Independent Policing Oversight Authority to launch a thorough investigation into the matter.
Brian’s mother says that the boy wasn’t involved in the protests and has simply walked out of their house when he was struck by a police bullet in the lower abdomen.
The governor then expressed his condolences to the family and loved ones and wished quick recovery to those injured during the demonstrations.
