The Chief Officer for fisheries and Blue Economy in Kilifi County, Rahab Karisa, has been killed under mysterious circumstances.
According to the guard of Karisa’s house located in the Mnarani area, the county government official was stabbed to death by her house help before she fled.
The Chief Officer had reportedly returned to the country from a work trip in Italy.
Kilifi County police commander Fatuma Hadi confirmed the incident, saying police will begin an investigation into the incident and a search for the house help.
