A-20-year-old man was stabbed six times and succumbed to injuries on way to hospital in Kuresoi North, Nakuru County.
The man was stabbed on Sunday night after he revealed the suspect who stole money from his friend.
DCI officers from Keringet police station responded swiftly and arrested the suspect at Kamukunji while he tried to flee.
Speaking at Gacharage centre, the deceased’s mother Marcella Sang said she was woken up at around 10pm, told that two men had fought at the centre. She heard loud cries from the centre.
Unending fights and loud cries from drunkards are common in the centre.
Area chief Samuel Bor said the illicit brew sold in the centre has seen several such cases dominate.
The suspect, who tried to flee the scene was arrested and held at Keringet police station
