The 2nd lady , Dorcas Rigathi Gachagua has expressed concern over the case of a four Month old baby reportedly addicted to alcohol.
Speaking at the inaugural training of religious leaders in Kenya to fight HIV/AIDS, alcohol and drug abuse at the bomas of Kenya, Principal Magistrate Jackie Kibosia narrated the case to those in attendance.
The four month old baby was reportedly addicted to Vodka and was before the magistrate following a case of neglect by the mother.
The mother is said to have been a sex worker who reportedly told the court that she had no alternative but to give the baby Vodka in the morning so she could sleep throughout the night as the mother worked.
According to the magistrate, the baby could not stay sober and was already addicted by the time she was rescued.
Pastor Rigathi called on all mothers to urge their children to stop drug dealing, which she described as a killer trade.
