FORMER CS Peter Munya presents himself hours after court issued warrant of arrest against him.
Munya was expected in court on Tuesday, August 29 to testify in the KSh68 billion Arror and Kimwarer dams’ corruption case.
The warrant of arrest against Munya was issued by Milimani Courts Magistrate Eunice Nyutu after DCI officers failed to produce him in court.
The former CS was supposed to testify against former CS Henry Rotich and others but upon presenting himself before the court he was dropped as a witness after taking to the dock the prosecution applied for an adjournment saying that they are not ready.
The magistrate declined to adjourn the matter, thereby forcing the prosecution to drop Munya as their witness.
