Man arrested after attempting to rape his 100-year-old mother.
A 53-year-old man from Uganda is currently in police custody for allegedly raping his mother, aged 100.
The suspect reportedly got to his mother’s grass-thatched house at 11:00 pm and found his mother asleep and tied her hands using a mosquito net.
The residents who reside in the mother’s neighbourhood were angered to the extent they attempted lynching the rape suspect who is said to be separated from his wife.
He was however rescued by the police from East Kyoga region and rushed to hospital.
