More than 200 Families left homeless in Mavoko.

More than 200  families have been left counting losses after their residential houses as apartments were demolished by the national government after the Machakos Environment and Lands high Court ruling which declared Portland cement company as the rightful owner of the 4,298 acres of land.

The affected decry that the government ambushed them without issuing them with any eviction notice.

They residents cry that they have incurred losses,hence they took Bank loans to purchase their purcels of land and build their homes.

They are now pleading with the president to intervene and stop the demolition exercise and they be compensated for their losses.
