Wiper Patriotic Front Leader HE Dr Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka warned both the Ruto regime and potential investors from selling or buying the Kenya Pipeline Company.
Speaking in Chuka, Meru county today, Kalonzo said that should the proposed sale of the strategic asset be fast tracked by a regime desperate to auction Kenya, despite the court orders, the incoming administration would claim back the asset.
Deputy Minority Leader Hon Robert Mbui who accompanied Kalonzo to the ruracio function of Eric Munene Mati and Claire Mati, blew the whistle when he reminded Chuka MP Hon Patrick Munene Ntwiga, who was present – that Kalonzo and the Opposition halted the auction of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) to the Adani Group. “These critical institutions cannot be in private hands.”
Kalonzo also asked ODM to do the honourable thing – should they consummate the marriage on Monday to UDA with a Joint Parliamentary Group Meeting – to vacate the offices of the Minority including Leader and and Chief Whip of both Houses. “ODM has one leg on government and one leg in the Opposition.”.
Kalonzo also spoke about the assault on the Constitution and the rule of law as well as compensation for victims
