Former Nyeri Woman Representative Priscilla Nyokabi is among 100 candidates shortlisted by the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) for appointment as judges of the High Court.
In a statement, the JSC announced that the shortlist follows a nationwide recruitment process to fill 20 vacant positions in the Office of the Judge of the High Court of Kenya.
The commission said it received a total of 377 applications before the deadline of July 7, 2025, and shortlisted 100 applicants after reviewing their submissions for completeness and compliance with the eligibility criteria set out in the advertisement.
“Upon reviewing all submissions for completeness and compliance with the eligibility criteria outlined in the advertisement, the Commission shortlisted 100 candidates for further consideration for appointment as Judges of the High Court,” read the statement.
The shortlisted candidates will now proceed to the next phase, which includes interviews and additional assessments in accordance with JSC procedures.
