Karangu Muraya has broken his silence to respond to allegations of parental neglect leveled against him by his estranged wife, Triza Njeri.
Njeri had claimed that Muraya took their children without her knowledge and failed to provide support for months, accusations that gained widespread attention following remarks from Karangu’s wife, Carol Kim, during his 40th birthday celebrations, which sparked intense online debate.
In a detailed statement, Muraya refuted the claims, sharing a recent example of his involvement in his children’s care. “This was on Wednesday this week, when I received a call from my kids that they were unwell. I went there immediately and took them to the hospital. I spent the entire day with them,” he said, emphasizing his commitment and active role as a father.
Muraya’s response seeks to clarify his position amid the ongoing public scrutiny, highlighting his hands-on parenting despite the family disputes.
