Kenya will for the first time host the International Accreditation Conference (IAC 2025), a landmark event that will draw global leaders and experts in quality assurance, accreditation, and standards to Nairobi.

Organised by the Kenya Accreditation Service (KENAS), the conference will bring together regulators, conformity assessment bodies, government institutions, researchers, and international quality organizations for high-level discussions on strengthening quality infrastructure across various sectors.

The forum aims to highlight how accreditation promotes public safety, improves health standards, and supports cross-border trade through trusted quality systems.

Speaking on Friday, KENAS Chief Executive Officer Dr. Walter Ongeti confirmed Kenya’s readiness to host the event, describing it as a milestone that reflects the country’s growing influence in advancing quality and standards across Africa.
