This afternoon, the Prime Cabinet Secretary, H.E. Dr Musalia Mudavadi, engaged a high-energy delegation of over 200 supporters of President William Ruto’s re-election bid under the “Musalia Power House for Ruto” movement, led by their patron, Stephen Onzere.
The team briefed him on their growing grassroots momentum, particularly their mobilisation efforts to expand UDA membership and strengthen party structures at the community level.
Dr Mudavadi called for disciplined organisation, urging members not only to join UDA but to actively participate in the ongoing IEBC voter registration exercise, ensuring every supporter is registered, counted, and ready to shape the future.
“Muingie na kuunga chama cha UDA mkono. Idadi yetu iwe kubwa kwa kuwa sasa hapo ndio nyumbani. Yale mambo mengine mnasoma kwa mitandao na magazeti, sisi tulitumia njia halali za kisheria na Katiba yetu, na sasa tuko ndani ya UDA kikamilifu,” he said.
“We chose strategy over shortcuts. Dissolving ANC was a deliberate, forward-looking decision. Hatutazami nyuma kama bibi ya Lot. There is no going back,” he added.
Dr Mudavadi reaffirmed his full support for the team’s grassroots mobilisation as preparations begin for the 2027 General Elections, calling on them to rally behind President William Ruto’s development agenda and build the foundation for a strong and decisive second-term victory.
