National Police Service (NPS) has issued a press statement addressing growing concerns over alleged interference by police officers with journalists covering the ongoing drama festivals in Nakuru.
In the statement, the NPS acknowledged reports that certain officers may have disrupted journalists while they were executing their duties, an act the service firmly condemned as a violation of both legal provisions and ethical standards.
The NPS further emphasized that any officer found culpable of interfering with journalists will be subjected to disciplinary action in line with established procedures.
