The forecast will cover most parts of the country from 30th January to 5th February 2024.
A few areas in the South Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin, the Highlands East and West of the Rift Valley, the South-Eastern lowlands and the Coast are likely to receive light to moderate rainfall.
During that period, temperatures are expected to be as high as 38 degrees Celsius in Garissa, 37 degrees Celsius in Mandera and 34 degrees Celsius in Moyale.
Counties in the coast are predicted to have light to moderate morning, afternoon and night showers over a few places.
Counties in North-Western Kenya on the other hand will record sunny days and partly cloudy nights.
