Detectives have arrested two men after uncovering a suspected counterfeit juice production site at a homestead in Muthua, Kabete.
The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) said the operation followed a tip-off from a member of the public, prompting officers from Kabete Police Station to raid the premises.
The suspects were allegedly caught manufacturing counterfeit juice and arrested as detectives searched the property for evidence.
Officers recovered approximately 1,400 bottles of suspected counterfeit juice, each containing either 200ml or 300ml, alongside 56 cartons of bottles, five packets of bottle tops, two blue drums and three basins.

Other items seized included office glue, rubber stamps, ink and assorted stickers believed to have been used in producing counterfeit product labels.
The raid comes amid intensified efforts by authorities to curb the sale and distribution of counterfeit goods across the country. In June, the Anti-Counterfeit Authority announced plans for a nationwide crackdown on businesses dealing in fake products.
