KCB FC Head Coach Patrick ‘Luwowo’ Odhiambo is approaching the tail end of his first season at the helm with a sharpened focus: restoring confidence and unity in the squad as they chase a top-four finish in the FKF Premier League.

With just a few matches remaining, Odhiambo is calling on his players to treat every game like a final, a message that reflects his intent to end the season on a high note, regardless of earlier setbacks.

“Every remaining match in the premier league is like a final for us. We must treat it as such. Therefore, the boys have to step up in every department to ensure that we are playing as a unit. Our goal is to finish at the top four, that is where this team belongs. I am confident we will go to Dandora and come back home with three vital points,” said coach Odhiambo.

His remarks come ahead of Friday’s clash against Talanta FC at Dandora Stadium, a game that carries more than just points. It’s also a test of KCB’s resilience and Odhiambo’s ability to inspire a turnaround after a challenging run of form.

Although the bankers haven’t recorded a league win since March 15, when they beat Ulinzi Stars, Odhiambo has remained composed, emphasizing steady improvement and team cohesion over panic.

The recent 2-1 loss to Kenya Police FC, the league leaders, and their earlier FKF Cup exit at the hands of Nairobi United, have narrowed the club’s ambitions to a top-four league finish. But for a coach in his debut season, that outcome would still be seen as a respectable milestone.

As the squad heads into the final stretch, Odhiambo’s vision for KCB FC is clear: finish strong, rebuild belief, and lay the foundation for a stronger campaign next season.
