Hip-hop artist rapper Collo is returning to his roots with a high-energy street performance in Nairobi this Saturday, April 5, headlining the Beats & Deals Street Storm in collaboration with Distinct Sound Master.

Set to kick off at 5PM, the event will feature live sets from rising stars Razini, MC Riziki, and DJ McLaren, with Collo delivering tracks from his new EP, D.E.P Vol. 1 (Dope).

“This EP is about what’s next,” said Collo. “Hip hop is undeniably the world’s most influential culture and musical genre of our time. It’s now 50 years plus — and I’m celebrating 20 plus years in the recording industry.”

The show also marks a mentorship milestone for Razini, who first performed with Collo during the Fanisi Experiment Show at Geco Cafe in 2023. Since then, Collo has guided him in both music and business.

Known for his work with Kleptomaniax and hits like “You Guy,” “Party Don’t Stop,” and “Bazokizo,” Collo says the street setting is intentional — a return to the pulse of the people, where hip-hop lives loudest.
