2 men and 1 woman have lost their lives after a 41 seater matatu which was ferrying them from Kitui to Nairobi lost control and rolled over at Upper lands near Kalamba market at the Kibwezi , Kitui road.
According to the traffic police report, the matatu was over speeding and the driver wasn’t able to control it . The said vehicle rolled over severally causing the death of the 3 passengers.
The injured passengers have been rushed to a hospital in Kibwezi while the bodies of the deceased have been rushed to the Kibwezi funeral home.
The matatu has been towed to the Kibwezi Police Station as investigations proceed .
