Bandari FC is eager to kick off the new year with a victory when they welcome Kakamega Homeboyz to the Mbaraki Sports Ground this Saturday in a Kenya Premier League clash.
Interim head coach Razak Siwa says the squad is ready and motivated after a positive end-of-year break. “We agreed before the break that everyone must return strong and fit. I’m pleased with the players’ condition—they are ready to push forward,” Siwa said.
The coach stressed the importance of taking advantage of home support. “Playing at home is an opportunity. We must secure maximum points, and I encourage our fans to turn up in big numbers and be our 12th player,” he added.
Defender Sharif Majabe described the game as a chance to reset their season. “Our position on the KPL table is not where we want it to be, and that has to change. We’ve set clear targets as a team, and our fans will soon see the results,” he said.
Off the field, the club is expected to announce Benard Mwalala as the new head coach next week, signaling further changes to the technical bench as Bandari looks to climb the league standings.
