In a thrilling playoff showdown, the Minnesota Timberwolves overcame a 10-point deficit entering the fourth quarter, pulling off a nail-biting 116-113 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers to take a commanding 3-1 series lead.

Despite a strong performance from Luka Doncic, who scored 38 points, and LeBron James, who added 27, the Lakers couldn’t hold on to their late-game advantage. Minnesota mounted a furious comeback, with Jaden McDaniels converting a pivotal and-one play with 39.5 seconds remaining to put the Timberwolves ahead.

The Lakers had seemed in control as they entered the final period with a 10-point lead, but Edwards’ 43-point outburst fueled Minnesota’s comeback. The game featured a high level of intensity, with both Doncic and James playing every minute of the second half.

Now, the Lakers face elimination, needing to win three consecutive games to avoid being ousted. Game 5 will be played at the Lakers’ home court on Wednesday, as they aim to rally and extend the series.
